Dear Friends,
Thank you for taking the time to learn more about our family. We would love to meet you! We can only imagine the many thoughts and decisions weighing on your mind. Personally knowing some birth mothers, we have seen what a selfless decision choosing to place a child for adoption is. We appreciate your visiting our profile and considering our family as you look into a possible adoption plan for your child.
Jason and I met in 2011 and were married in August 2012. We both have big families, Amy is the oldest of 5 children and Jason is the youngest of 6! We love getting together to visit with with all of our family and look forward to gatherings celebrating the holidays or birthdays. Amy's mother loves to put together little carnivals for the grandchildren through the year and we love to have a big BBQ on the 4th of July.
Jason is a fun loving dad who enjoys laughing and getting others to laugh! He enjoys exploring new interests and places. He is an especially good cook while Amy is more into baking. Amy loves being a mother to Allie and helping her reach her potential. She enjoys whale watching, stargazing, and everything about Fall!
Allie was born with MAND syndrome and works hard to push past developmental delays. Allie has a very sweet, happy personality and enjoys dancing to all kinds of music- especially rock! We all enjoy being outside any chance we can get and spending time together.
One of Amy's favorite memories from growing up was to visit her family cabin in Star Valley Wyoming. This is something we want to continue with our children. It is surrounded by pine trees and a river, which the cousins all love to throw rocks in and try to fish. There is always a campfire at night with a new type of treat to roast- and of course lots of cobbler.
We enjoy hiking, traveling, working in the yard, reading and are always planning our next vacation. One of our favorites was to go and visit family in San Diego. We were especially excited about this trip because Allie is so fascinated with water- she loved the beach and wanted to jump right in. We love finding the things she enjoys and looking for ways to celebrate!
We will teach any children placed with us about adoption and their birth parents from the very beginning. They will know that they were and are loved by their birth parents as we share their story with them. We strongly feel that a child would benefit from knowing their birth parents, and we are open to having contact through pictures and visits. We would love to include you in different life events including birthdays, graduations and other milestones.
We look forward to meeting you and hope you have comfort in your decision process. A quote we love is “Family isn't always blood. It's the people in your life who want you in theirs; the ones who accept you for you are. The ones who would do anything to see you smile and who LOVE YOU.”
